Just prior to the new year, Pantone (the king of colors) picked their color of the year: Mocha Mousse!
It is a casually warm brown, slightly dusty, a coffee with a touch of creamer and hint of chocolate.
Yep, it is brown.
More than likely you’ll find strains of Mocha Mousse in fashion, accessories and home goods. Humans may be faint or quite liberal with Mocha Mousse as it is a rather neutral color.
And yes, you can join in the brown tone trend! Vintage neckties are known for carrying various tones of brown throughout them. They may not be exactly Mocha Mouse, but the browns they carry will easily coordinate with this warm mid range brown tone.
