The Necktie Apron Patterns

$25

A crafty housewife gathered a collection of neckties and created an apron. It made its way from the late 40s, early 50s into our collection. Each stitch of the apron was unpicked, bringing the neckties back to singular so they can be merrily turned into collars.

These neckties are rather old, seems like they are from the 40s (possibly 30s or 50s) making them nearly 80 years old!

The materials vary from silk to polyester with some unknowns as the tags with fiber content were missing.

Colors from the screen will be different than in having the collar in hand. We try to represent them as accurately as possible.

Care:
Wash on a delicate cycle or hand wash and hang dry.

To measure your dog for the right collar size:

  • Measure around your dog’s neck (use a string or anything that loops around your dog’s neck).
  • Add 1-2 fingers of space
  • Measure the length
  • TA-DAH you have your dog’s neck size!
  • Now pick the perfect size!

PS – You can also measure one of your dog’s old collars to find the right size!

*** For any collars that slip over the head (limited slip, martingale & tag collar) measure around your dog’s neck AND head. If her head size is the same size or smaller than her neck, use the neck measurement for size. If her head size is LARGER than her neck, order a size that will fit over her noggin then adjust to fit her neck! ***
